• Compact and electric: E-excavator EZ10e

• New skip switching system expands the dumper’s task repertoire

• Further development of the EquipCare software

Lightweight without emissions

Zero emissions in the one-ton class: The new EZ10e excavator from Wacker Neuson makes it possible to work without local exhaust emissions, and with just a 1.2-tonne operating weight, it is particularly well suited to applications with a restricted floor load, such as indoors. Its 14-kWh lithium-ion battery makes application times of up to eight hours possible – minimal charging times and parallel operation at the socket facilitate continuous operation. Joystick control, jog-dial operating system and multiple, adjustable armrests, as well as a clear display, bring the comfort of the larger machines to the EZ10e. Additionally, the green-illuminated Active Working Signal increases safety on both internal and night-time construction sites. The Zero Tail design of the EZ10e guarantees a safe working environment in the most confined spaces, which is also supported by a telescopic travel gear that can be reduced from 1100 mm to 790 mm, as well as a fold-over dozer blade extension. The new ET08 tracked excavator, with an 800 kg operating weight and a width of just 700 mm, is likewise designed especially for working in confined spaces. The ET08 is based on the tried and tested 803 mini tracked excavator from Wacker Neuson and gleams in its new design and with its familiar high power.

Innovation in material transport

The first skip switching system for wheel dumpers globally makes the fast and simple exchanging of the skip possible and increases application options and the machine’s output significantly. The skip switching system was initially designed for the Dual View dumper DV60 with two skips: the established swivel tip skip, as well as the three-sided tipping platform with fold-down and removable side walls. It is possible for one person to change the skip in just a few steps and without any tools. The supplied feet make it possible to safely set aside the removed skip. By changing the skip, the user can transport both bulk material and other goods, like water containers, pallets or construction equipment, with the dumper. As a result, the areas of application can be extended, the utilisation of the machine is increased and the dumpers can be even more flexible, e.g. for application as a lorry replacement. It is possible, as usual, to operate the skips from the cabin with a joystick, and the operation does not differ, in terms of operation, from the custom wheel dumper.

Digital solutions for efficient fleet and construction site management

With EquipCare, Wacker Neuson offers a digital solution, which enables the centralised monitoring of machine locations, operating times and maintenance requirements of telematics-able construction equipment and compact machines. The further development of software now provides users with noticeable benefits: A new, user-friendly front-end simplifies operation, and through customised functional packages, EquipCare can be tailored to different user groups. The digital provision is complemented by the Wacker Neuson app, which makes all the important information, like operating instructions, the spare parts catalogue and instruction videos, quickly available to operators. For users, this means higher productivity, simpler maintenance planning and reduced downtimes – even for complex or projects with a tight turnaround.
